CONVERTER 12 V-220 V


The montage creates an alternating voltage 220 V 50 Hz frequency about, from a DC voltage of 12V. The operating power depends on the transformer used and is approximately 40 W maximum.


USE

A final check the implementation of components and welds.
Connect the secondary ends of transformer points marked "A and D".
Connect the secondary mid point of the transformer at the point marked "B" (according to the diagram).
Plug a lamp 220 V on the primary of the transformer (220V side). The power of the lamp is a function of the power of the transformer.
Connect the 12 V battery of corresponding power at the points marked "+ and -".
Inter is connected in series with the +.
Put the inter turned on.
The lamp should light immediately.
NOTE:
Features of the transformer to use:
- Primary = 220 V
- Secondary = 2 x 9 V (2 windings 9 V) or 18 V at the midpoint (1 winding 18 v;
- Power = 1 A to 4 A by winding up. For a transformer 2A for example, the lamp power is approximately 25W.

For a transformer 4A for example, the power of the lamp is 50W approximately.
